Buyer – Own Brand.

Our client is seeking a dedicated product driven Buyer, you will be responsible for curating and managing the own-brand product portfolio.

As the Buyer you’ll collaborate with various teams including product development, marketing, and supply chain to identify market trends, develop product concepts, negotiate with suppliers and ensure the timely delivery of all products.

The Buyer role requires a keen understanding of consumer preferences, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding products.

Duties Will Include

Collaborate with product development teams to develop own-brand products aligned with market demands.

Identify and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.

Monitor and analyse sales performance, margins, and profitability of own-brand products, and take proactive measures to optimize performance.

Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through testing and quality assurance.

Ideal experience:

• At least 5 years experience within a Buying role for a high street retailer
• Experience working with global factories. .
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong vendor relationships.
